Omeprazole is used to treat certain stomach and gastrointestinal channel problems (acid reflux, gastric ulcers, etc.). It works by lowering the amount of acid produced by the stomach. Allergic reactions to this product are rare. Precautionary Measures.

This medication can be converted to breast milk. Effects on infants are unknown. Consult your physician before breastfeeding.
