Novolin R (conventional human insulin injection [recombinant DNA earring] US Pharmacopeia) is a polypeptide hormone structurally similar to natural human insulin made by recombinant DNA technology with Saccharomyces infiltration.

Novolin 70/30 is a sham insulin (recombinant DNA origin), a mixture of 70% NIPH, human insulin isophane suspension, and 30% simple human insulin for injection, produced structurally by the human pancreas. It is used to check for increases in blood glucose levels in sweet diabetics.
