When head lice emerge, the nit is a little later – they are small, white empty eggshells that look like roses but are stuck much more to the hair.
How do you detect the presence of lice?
Step 1: Drawing Lice/ Searching for Symptoms
The first step is to recognize the signs of lice so you can recognize the warning signals. If lice are present, one or more of the following signs are probably clear
- Itching on the scalp.
- Feeling as if something is moving in the hair.
- Itching caused by an allergic reaction to a lice bite, especially on the head or behind the ears.
- Scalp smudging through excessive scratching.
- Sleeping problems such as lice, which become more severe when pessimistic.
Step 2: How to search for lice, Phase 1 (dry hair)
- Examine the scalp. Spread hair over several areas, looking for sores or rashes, paying particular attention to the back of the neck and ears.
- Look for movement: it is not easy to find lice, but you may see movement in the hair.
- Try to detect NITs: look for small white/yellowish bags formed by tears. These attach themselves to the hair close to the scalp in a quarter-centimeter direction.
- Remember that it is easy to confuse NIT with rose or hair product residue. The most important difference is that the NIT sticks to the hair and the loose and hair flakes simply pull away.
- If you find NITs, it is still important to know if they are still viable. If they are more than an inch of scalp, they will likely come out and your baby may no longer be infested. Only NITs close to the scalp or lice are considered evidence of an existing infestation.
Step 3: Finding Lice, Phase 2 (wet hair)
If you have lice and are not sure using the above methods, you can recognize how to find lice. to check For lice, use the following method with a lice support or comb
- First wet the hair.
- Next, put a large amount of conditioner in the hair. Comb hair from scalp (carrot) to ends with an optimal comb.
- If lice are present in the hair, they should seem in the location of the lice/fleas. If you discover that lice are present, you must still check everyone in your family. You have freed your own family from the plague of lice because everyone is indeed healed.

- Shampoo with pyrethrin will kill both lice and nits when applied to the scalp.
- Taking oil or shampoo containing Nivea oil still has a chance to be effective, but should be applied to the scalp for 20-30 minutes.
2. choose NIT after completion of emergency treatment.
This should be done externally or in a bath. Next, wet the hair and dampen it with a fine-toothed comb. There, ensure that all NITs within 1 inch of the scalp are removed. 3.
3. if virtually none of the healing methods indicated to kill the NIT are used, the wetting and brushing should probably be repeated for about 9 days to banish the NIT.
