They are more common in tropical climates, including Africa, Southeast Asia, Pacific islands, parts of the Caribbean, and Central and South America. There have been outbreaks of Zika in the virus in the United States, but they did not occur at the same time.

- You like babies with birth defects that have had the chance to be caused by Zika.
Most people with Zika do not have symptoms, but if they do, they often do.
If you have signs of Zika and have had sex with an infected person, contact your midwife or gynecologist. Tell your doctor about your possible exposure. Using a condom can reduce your chances of getting Zika through sex.
What Happens During Zika virus test?
