Hydroxydicin pamoate is contraindicated in patients with previously proven hypersensitivity to the ingredients of this drug.

Hydroxyzine is used to treat itching caused by allergies. It is an antihistamine and works by blocking certain natural substances (histamine) that the body produces during an allergic reaction. Hydroxyzine can be used to cure fears or to make you sleepy/relax before or after surgery.

This drink should be taken by mouth, usually 3-4 times a day, with or without food, as prescribed by your doctor.

Dosage is based on your age, medical condition and response to treatment. In children, dosage is still based on body weight. Do not increase your own dosage. Also, do not take this medication more often than prescribed.

Tell your doctor if your condition does not improve or worsen.

You may suffer from drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, obstruction or dryness. Tell your doctor or pharmacist as soon as possible if one of these effects persists or worsens.
